Details checked October 12, 2026. Dongdaemun Design Plaza will run its Sunset Tour on Fridays and Saturdays from October 16 through November 21, inviting 15 adults per session onto its full 652-metre roof circuit for a 90-minute guided walk. The ₩50,000 programme is for visitors aged 18 to 70, with ID required; start times follow sunset, and no fixed clock time had been published by the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Media Hub. Reservations are required through DDP’s online booking system, and weather or operating conditions may alter the session.

The Friday version turns Zaha Hadid’s sweeping aluminium roof into a small concert venue. Singer-songwriters Moon Sang-hee perform October 16 and November 13, Curim plays October 23 and November 20, and flutist Lee Seul-gi appears October 30 and November 6, according to Media Hub. Their sets will also be livestreamed to the screen at Oullim Square, giving passers-by a free view of the performance. Saturdays shift to guided meditation with singing bowls, led by Bora in October and Jeong Yu-seon in November.

The setting is DDP, 281 Eulji-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul, whose roof was long closed to ordinary visitors. Seoul’s 2024 pilot drew 60,000 applications for 100 public places, the city said; the later full-route programme framed the walk as “Design, History, Panorama and Future.” For a lower-cost architectural visit, the regular rooftop tour runs through November 29, excluding Mondays, for ₩26,000. Beneath the polished curves, the free Dongdaemun History Museum preserves excavated traces of the Joseon-era city wall, floodgates and military facilities uncovered during construction.
